SOTM is a community-driven music discovery platform where users can submit songs, vote on submissions, and participate in monthly music competitions. The service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time.

3. User Accounts

To participate in voting and submissions, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Providing accurate and complete registration information

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Engage in vote manipulation or create multiple accounts
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Post spam, misleading content, or malware
• Attempt to circumvent any security measures
• Use the service for any illegal purpose

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content, you grant SOTM a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your submissions within the platform. Music linked through the platform remains the property of respective rights holders.

6. Karma System

Karma points are earned through platform participation and are non-transferable. We reserve the right to adjust karma balances if abuse is detected. Karma does not have monetary value and cannot be exchanged for goods or services.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for the accuracy of user-submitted content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SOTM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
